Mayabeque, Cuba_ The current Influenza Vaccination Campaign benefits 5300 people in Madruga as part of the public health projects of the Cuban State.

Liliana Martell Hernández, nursing advisor of the sector in the locality, reported that they have the resources and materials for the effective accomplishment of the task.

In Madruga are benefited the adults over 65 years, besides the infants from 6 and up to 11 months and 29 days of birth.

The Municipal Health Department guarantees the antiviral vaccine to 518 asthmatics, 31 individuals with chronic renal failure, as well as patients with fibrocystic and cerebral diseases.

The health entities of the territory, in this social project, take into account the poultry and pig groups center, and the internal centers as nursing and maternal homes to prevent them from suffering of the viral disease.
