Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Board of Directors of the National Center for Agricultural and Livestock Health (CENSA) of San José de las Lajas held the first meeting to announce the Civil Defense Number 1 announcement regarding the probable passage of Hurricane Irma through the territory, Radio Camoa reports.
At the meeting, they discussed the measures to be taken, especially the notification to the Director General and the Defense Adviser, before any situation, the use of the television and the radio to be properly informed, the Notification Plan, among others.
José Raúl Pérez Garay, Defense Specialist at CENSA pointed out the information to the different directions of work of the institution, the factors and secretaries of what to do before the Information Phase, once it is decreed.
He indicated to carry out an Extraordinary Board of Direction to define the plan to follow during that phase and the activation of the Guard Officer together with a companion of the workers' guard.
To review the sources of water supply, the reserves of the same and the fuel available for the generators are among the immediate actions to be taken.
