Mayabeque, Cuba: The Culture Direction in Quivicán organized a program of activities to celebrate the Cuban National Culture Day.

Workshops on visual Arts, dance and repentismo for the pioneers of the locality will be taught in the Municipal House of Culture.

Another action, available to the public, is the screening of films in the Cinema Theater of the territory, as well as children's movies for the little ones at home.

The festivities will begin on Thursday, October 10 with a Mambisa horse ride, where farmers from different productive forms of the municipality will participate.

They will perform a parade of the rhythmic bands of the educational centers, in the areas of the Quivicán Park.

Also that day it will be inaugurate a temporary exhibition in greeting to the 500th anniversary of the founding of San Cristóbal de La Habana village.
