Mayabeque, Cuba__ The twentieth edition of the literary competition Vicentina Antuna, In memoriam, concluded in Mayabeque with the award ceremony at the the Visual Arts Provincial Center, in Guines.

The unique prize was given to Wilfredo Casanova Ortiz, from Matanzas for his poems Luego Existo.
 
According to Maite Capó Medina, director of Raul Gomez Garcia Library, the writers Clemente Nunez Lazo and Yamilé Padrón Alfonso, both from Guines, received a mention for the works Version de un sueño (Version of a Dream) and Amar a toda costa (Love at any price) respectively. 

"The jury was integrated by exponents of the lyrics in the province, Felicia Virginia Hernandez Lorenzo, a prominent writer and researcher, Guillermo Hernandez Montero, writer and teacher, and Juan Carlos Garcia Guridi, researcher and poet from Batabanó, among others," Maite added.
 
This time the contest established poetry as a genre, inspired or devoted to magnify any personality of the Cuban culture.
 
There were a total of 16 albums that complied with the requirements, which authors came from Mayabeque and Matanzas
