Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Provincial Festival of Radio, Television and the written media, Mayabeque 2016, has 192 works in competition, 115 in radio, 48 television and 32 in print.

The jury of Radio begins to session since this Tuesday morning. In the section of musical it granted awards to the program Por una canción, of Luis Ernesto Machado from Radio Jaruco, while in the category of choral music the prize was for Maria del Carmen Hernandez and Amaury Flores’ Las olas de la musica.

It also obtained the first position in instrumental music Donde la música habla from Andy Duardo Martin, and in classical music, Elizabeth Alvarez with Nuestros Clásicos, both from Radio Mayabeque.

The jury of programs and information genres gave mentions o the news program Al Día, of Radio Jaruco, produced by Silvia Gonzalez and Jorge Luis Guevara, and the cultural news program Hoy por Hoy, also from Jorge Luis Guevara.

The provincial radio news, De Buena Fuente, directed by Carlos Luis Molina Labrador, was the prize this time and in the category of cultural news, Coordenada Cultural directed by Rebeca Diaz Acosta, also was awarded, both of Radio Mayabeque.

The jury of genres and television news programs in the information category gave the award to Liliet Fuentes La Rosa, Guines TV. In the genre of essay the lauro was achieved by the journalist Raudel Roque for his work Accidente de Trafico and in interview the prize went for Recojan que se mudan from Maidelyn Remon, the latter two from the provincial TV station Tele Mayabeque.
