Mayabeque, Cuba_ The International Book Fair 2016 will start in the capital of the youngest province of the country since March 16th to 20th, with the presentation of several titles from some demarcation’s writers.
The cultural event will begin on March 16th with the opening activity in charge of writer Ricardo Alberto Perez and a cultural moment with a poetic controversy between AramÃs Padilla and Juan Carlos Guridi.
Several proposals will be presented at Felix Pita Rodriguez, Computing Palace, Pequeños Principes Protocol Room during the inauguration.
A wide cultural program will take place during the event with the presentation of singers and Caiman Sonoro musical group of the Repentismo Workshop of Guines. The attendants will also enjoy f a retreat of the Municipal band of San Jose de las Lajas.
Since 5 p.m. in the afternoon the Lajero movie-theater will venue an exhibition of films with a literary theme, while at Quixote Park, people will enjoy the performance of singers from Hermanos Saiz association.
