Mayabeque, Cuba_ Montecallado Publishing House, from Mayabeque, will present 11 titles at the Twenty-seventh International Book Fair in the territory. 

Four volumes of narrative, three of poetry, two for children and an equal number of researching books are among the selection.

According to Alida Nápoles Rodríguez, publisher of Montecallado, the fair will be held in the province from April 11 to 15, 2018.

In this occasion they will show 7 publications of authors of the territory. Among the works of poetry highlights that of Carlos Etiel Gómez Abreu from Matanzas, one of the winners of the Decima Contest Francisco Riverón.

The International Book Fair is the most significant event of the Cuban publishing movement. It began to be held in 1982, with a biannual cycle, and since 2000 it begins to take place annually.

It has its permanent headquarters at San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress in Havana and it is extended through the remaining provinces of the country.
