Mayabeque, Cuba_ The sixth grade students of San José de las Lajas, Edriel Alonso, Yoan Marrero and Jorge Isaac Alemán participated this February 28 in the National Contest of Mathematics. 

The Master Elia Gil, Assesor in the Direction of Education and President of the Municipal Commission of the subject, said that the pioneers arrived at the contest after reaching the gold medal in Mayabeque in January, Radio Camoa publishes.

The specialist highlighted the high level of knowledge and skills achieved by the 11-year-old male pupils, who faced a complex test to close an important period of school competitions.

Although the results will not be known until the first half of March, the fact of meeting this challenge proved the talent of those boys from the schools Martyrs of San José, Camilo Cienfuegos and Tamara Bunke where they received the best preparation.
