Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Federation of Secondary School Students (FEEM) in San José de las Lajas is carrying out bastions to encourage young people to prepare for the defense of their country.Â

First aid exercises with mock accidents and lectures on disasters and their consequences, as well as those of antiaircraft and chemical warnings, the activation of Flags detachments or ceremonies squads, are among the actions.
In the history chairs, the students participated in conversations with combatants of the Revolution, young officers and females who fulfill voluntary military service.
In addition, they enjoyed feature films that highlight the role of the new generation in the different stages of the Cuban revolutionary struggles.
On the other hand, in the events of the scientific society, they encouraged the students to research when looking for information about the martyr of the school and the distinguished patriot of the demarcation.
In the round tables held in these days, a prosecutor gave talks on the duties and rights of citizens and the fight against social indiscipline. They made visits to monuments, museums, places where FEEM students learned more about the deeds and their protagonists.
