Mayabeque, Cuba_ The top direction of the Young Communist League (UJC) in Santa Cruz del Norte together with the Jose Marti Pioneers Organization (OPJM), prepares a plan of activities to celebrate their anniversaries. 

Yeney Bolaño Domínguez, member of the Municipal Buro of the UJC, talks about the details.

Journalist: When did these activities to honor April 4th begin?

YBD: The activities for the anniversaries 56 of the UJC and 57 of the OPJM began on March 13th with an act carried out by the University Students Federation in the municipal radio station. From that date on, all the work centers are carrying out different actions, for example exchange with the pioneers, young people and combatants, besides a journey to beautify the territory as part of the popular movement Growing Together (Creciendo Juntos).

J: In relation to the central activities, what new things are you proposing?

YBD: The activities in the territory will begin since April 3rd, from 9:00 in the morning, with a sports-recreational festival for the children and will end with a Cubaila about 11: 30-12: 00 of the day

YBD: Later at 2:00 in the afternoon they will hold a political-cultural gala for the anniversary, in the theater of the Party. They will also recognize the grassroots committees, pioneers guides of outstanding schools and we will deliver the organization's card.

J: The closing of this day will take place on April 14, how did you conceive the proposals?

YBD: A baseball game is scheduled for April 14 with the participation of young people from the thermoelectric plant, the Oil Drilling and Extraction Company of the West, the Ronera and the Memory hotel, entities of economic importance in Santa Cruz del Norte.
