The team will be led by the Olympic champion and two-time world champion, Idalis Ortiz.
The squad is completed by Melissa Hurtado, Yanisleidis Ponciano, Yurisleidis Hernandez, Maylin del Toro, Ónix Cortes, Olga Masferrer, Kaliema Antomarchi and Idalis Ortiz, all under the orders of Portuondo and Driulis González.
The fair will be held at the Crystal Room of the Pedregal Events Center, in Heredia, Costa Rica, from the 20th to the 22nd of this month. Cuba will double in two categories, 48 ​​and 70 kg, and will present one athlete in the remaining five divisions.
According to the program of competitions, on Friday 20 the Cubans will discuss the medals in four women's divisions, of 48,52,57 and 63 kilograms, and three men, and one day later they will define the medals in 70,78 and more than 78 for the women , and 81,90,100 and more than 100 for males.
The event will be a qualifier for the Pan American Games in Lima 2019 and will conclude on Sunday 22nd and will have as a culmination the team competition in both sexes.
