Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Institute of Animal Science (ICA), in San José de las Lajas, is preparing for the VIII International Meeting of Young Farmers Interjoven 2018.
Young people committed to an agro-ecological culture will be the motto of this event that will be held in the facilities of this high-school house, from June 6 to 9, in greeting to the World Environment Day.
The participants have a common goal, the interest of contributing to the agricultural development of their peoples, whether as researchers, technicians or producers.
The spaces for discussion go beyond borders and allow integrating the work of the new generations with the various national and international institutions linked to the sector.
The themes to be developed will be: sustainable animal production, agro-ecological systems and sustainable rural development, agricultural biotechnology, mathematics and software applied to the agricultural, sociology, economy and technology transfer and information management in the agricultural sector, which will be presented in forms of short papers and posters.
At the event will be held scientific conferences of prestigious personalities related to the field and topics such as: production of ruminant and monogastric animals, obtaining and characterization of food and addictive, among others.
