Mayabeque, Cuba_ Law professionals of the territory will participate in the VIII International Meeting Justice and Law to be held from next May 18th to 20 at Havana’s Convention Palace.

The event, sponsored by the Cuban National Union of Lawyers and the Law Faculty of the University of Havana is a scientific and juridical space of great national and international prestige.

Outstanding personalities as presidents and magistrates of supreme justice courts, specialists, academics and professors for different places are to attend this Congress.

Methods for the strengthening of ethics and the judicial independence in giving justice, the access to justice and the need for its improvement and new alternative forms of punishment, are some of the topics to be discussed in the meeting.

The participants will also discussed about the potentialities of the mechanism to speed justice, the popular participation in administering it, the protection and work insertion and the woman in the office of judge are other themes to be under debate.

Justice and Law 2016 increase favors the discussion, reflection and the exchange of experience among the different operators of judicial systems in the participating countries with the purpose of reaching a better justice.
