Mayabeque, Cuba_ The quality that evidences the control in the financial statements of the government in Mayabeque, the treasury system, verifications and conciliations of the management bodies, as well as other aspects that contemplate the integrating process to locate the liquidation of the State budget, received evaluation of acceptable in this territory for the first time.

According to the Director of Finance in the Provincial Administration Council, Elizabeth Labastida García, in almost eight years since the province was created, it is the first time that they have obtained satisfactory results.

Labastida García added that it is a process that integrates government accounting, the entire treasury system, the quality of the financial statement notes, expenditure verifications and the review of six municipalities.

"Even when certain aspects were assessed as satisfactory, it is important to take into account what is related to investments", Labastida García highlights.

"This year we reduced by more than six million pesos, decreased in 10 budgeted units and in 4 municipalities the demand for resources and the province as such ended up with a positive availability in those resources," she concluded.
