Mayabeque, Cuba_ Several are the proposals carried out in the province tp commemorate the 55 and 54 anniversaries of José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) and the Young Communists League (UJC) respectively, the digital site of Mayabeque newspaper publishes.

Accordingto Yamilka Gazmuris Rivero, head of the Ideological Department of the UJC in the province the celebrations began since mid-March and will run until the end of April.

Gazmuris added that the Meeting with the Young Art will take place on April 3rd in the House of Culture of Bejucal, with the performance of creators from the Hermanos Saiz Association and José Martí Instructors Brigade.

She also referred that a bike ride to Giron is expected for the days from April 8 to 10 with the participation of more than 100 young people from Artemisa, Havana and Mayabeque; a camping activity will also take place on the night of April 18th at that historic place of the southern coast of Matanzas.

"For April 11th it is planned a baseball game at the Nelson Fernandez Estevez Stadium, in the provincial capital, between members of the youth organization and on April 23rd it will be carried out the Youth-Pioneers Cantata, Forever Commander, in Melena del Sur happen, with singers and repentistas from the territory, " Rivero Gazmuris said.

A festival of rhythmic bands, casino competitions and gymnastic presentations will take place in all municipalities of the territory, she added.
