Mayabeque, Cuba_ The National Center for Biologicals in Mayabeque, received the Flag of Honor, the highest incentive granted by the National Bureau of the Young Communists League (UJC) to youth groups with relevant results across the country, Radio Rebelde published.

The ceremony, held at El Laguito Protocol Hall, was attended by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, second secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers who gave the distinction to the awarded.

Medals Abel Santamaria and Jose Antonio Echeverria were delivered to 17 and eight young respectively. These decorations were imposed by Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Yuniaski Crespo Baquero, first secretary of the UJC National Committee.

In addition 18 professional cadres of the youth organization in the nation, received a recognition for their work from the hands of Abelardo Álvarez Gil, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Sucely Morfa González, second secretary of the National Committee of the UJC, was also present at the ceremony.
