Mayabeque, Cuba_ The inauguration of the Environmental Education Cabinet, at the Provincial Library Raúl Gómez García, in Güines, is one of the most relevant activities held on the occasion of World Environment Day.

It has texts and documents from Cuban experts, such as Manuel Iturralde, in which people will find research on natural resources.

Alfonso Núñez Méndez, head of the section of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), in the Council of Municipal Administration, explained that there are 12 volumes that represent a source of consultation for all those interested in issues about the preservation of the environment.

The computer room of the library has digital documents, books, documentaries, Power Point presentations and other copies that, as an extension of the cabinet, constitute a facility for users to obtain information on this subject.
