Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Territorial Delegation of the National Institute of the State Reserve, in Mayabeque, welcomed the participants in the Second Provincial Conference of the National Union of Civil Defense Workers.
The delegates focused the debate on the integral improvement of the work of the organization, based on the exemplarity of the union leaders, the economic battle and the quality of the services, as well as the strengthening of the ideological political work with the affiliates.
They also analyzed the role of civilian workers in the prevention and confrontation of social indiscipline, illegalities and crime.
In the meeting they chose six delegates and one directly to the National Conference, in addition to the new provincial secretariat of the National Union of Civil Defense Workers and ratified Oslaydi Mirabal Núñez as general secretary of that union in the province.
The meeting was attended by the member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Jorge Felix Laso Mesa and the Secretary General of that union in the country José Alonso Monterrey, among other representatives of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC), the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) in the demarcation.
