Mayabeque, Cuba_ The advances in biotechnology and tropical livestock focused the debate on the session of the International Youth Agricultural Event (Interjoven), based at the Institute of Animal Science (ICA), located in Mayabeque.

Other topics were related to the Tarea Vida (Life Task) and sustainable development, the production of ruminant and monogastric animals and the presentation of agreements with Cuba.

According to the president of the organizing committee, José Raúl López Álvarez, they met with several marketers and verified the materialization of them in the country.

The biologist Lidia Edith García Morales, representative of Mexico in Interjoven, explained that the presentations are based on the formulation of diets for cattle and crocodile feed in captivity.

On the initiative of a group of young researchers from the Institute of Animal Science, the idea of ​​holding a Youth Scientific Event, within the framework of World Environment Day, came up.

The objective is to create a discussion forum to integrate the work of the various national and foreign institutions that work for the agricultural sector, and are committed to their peoples and to the legacy of future generations.
