Mayabeque, Cuba_ The province of Mayabeque increases the planting of viandas and other crops, in order to guarantee food sustenance in markets, warehouses, social institutions and the country's capital.

"We comply with the crop plan at 117 percent. The viandas, as a fundamental line, at 101 percent, and the plantation of cassava was intensified with good results, Eduardo Alonso Rivero, deputy director of production of agriculture in the Provincial Administration said.

The work of rotation of the machines in the field, contributes to this work to maintain the sowings with assortments of high demand in the Cuban table.

"We have 151 active machines, of the 156 of the territory. The objective is to maintain the rotating cycle of these products”, Alonso Rivero added.
