Mayabeque, Cuba_ A representation of Mayabeque participated in the First Scientific Technological Youth Meeting, which took place at the capital’s Comodoro Hotel.
The event promoted the debate on how to strengthen a stronger link between the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) and the Technical Youth Brigades (BTJ), to mitigate the shortage of spare parts and give vitality to equipment and diverse media.
According to the Cuban News Agency, among the main topics analyzed were the role of innovation in the country's economic and social development, road safety, an urgent need, and the achievements of the IT Services of the Ministry of Transport (SITRANS) .
The participants focused their attention on the non-fulfillment of the moral and material recognition established by the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy, referred to the innovators, which results in demotivation, not feeling stimulated by their work.
The meeting was attended by young people from the central body, as well as the four Higher Organizations of Business Management (OSDE) that comprise it.
The meeting also included the XXII edition of the Mitrans Foundation Forum, with the presence of the entities attached to it.
