Mayabeque, Cuba_ The inauguration of the third edition of the Baseball Cup Antonio Ñico Jiménez Casa del Valle in Memoriam took place this morning at the Héroes del Mayabeque Stadium.

The opening ceremony was attended by relatives of the former baseball player.

The competition will be held until next July 7 of this year, by the system of all against all in a single round and the title will discuss by the two best placed teams.

Five teams participate in the competition: Isla de la Juventud, Artemisa, Pinar del Río, the youth team of the territory and the Hurricanes.

On this date the program includes the games between: Mayabeque-Isla de la Juventud, in Güinesand Artemisa-Juveniles, in the Nelson Fernández stadium in San José de las Lajas.
