Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque shows progress in the Program of Integral Attention to the Improvement of the Popular Power, which is evidenced in the sustained growth of the economy and the improvement of basic services in recent years.
The favorable transformations in the health infrastructure and the approach of the medical services to the community, together with better results in education, commerce, gastronomy and transport are examples of greater cohesion in the governmental system.
"We are able to achieve more impact on the population with greater approach of the executives to the voters from deepening the changes in mentality of all those who have the state work to govern," said Tamara Valido Benitez, president of the Assembly Provincial of Popular Power, in Mayabeque.
In a meeting with administrative officials of the territory in which they evaluated the Program of Improvement, the leader stressed the importance of involving all citizens in the solution of all the problems of the neighborhood and raise control in the execution of economic and social programs.
"The Program of Integral Attention to the Improvement of Popular Power has to be a daily guide in the work to weigh the concepts of efficiency and quality and thereby strengthen our political system and raise the credibility of the delegate, the first link in the management of government that defends the nation ", Valido BenÃtez concluded.
This young province experiences a new governmental model that is close to generalization in the country where, from the delimitation of functions between the assembly and the administration, it is possible to accelerate the development and welfare of the population.
