Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Tenth Ibero-American Meeting of Children and Youth Poets, Troubadours and Versadores will be held from August 12 to 16 in the province of Mayabeque.
"Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Panama and Cuba are the participating countries. We want to show our culture, society and the natural beauty of the territory”, according to Lázaro Palenzuela, director of the House of the Decima in the demarcation.
"The event will be attended by the most representative of each of the countries. Mexico will bring the Alondras Huastecas, one of the best trios of traditional music, and Emanuel Gaboto, an excellent folksong singer from Argentina will also be present", Palenzuela added.
"We want Mayabeque’s population to know other cultures, their decimas, the quintillas”, he said.
