Mayabeque, Cuba_ Educational centers in Melena del Sur are receiving maintenance actions during the holiday period with the aim of starting the new school year in better conditions.

Atilio Piñero Rodríguez, director of education in the territory, explained that at this moment three educational facilities are being repaired: the Rogelio Perea Polytechnic Institute, the La Edad de Oro special school and the Félix Varela Pre-university Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences.

Melena del Sur has 20 educational institutions and, according to the director, the planned program intend to intervene with constructive actions in three or five of them each year.
