Mayabeque, Cuba_ The arrangements for the eighth edition of the Summer in Jibacoa Festival are progressing satisfactorily in the province.

The most important cultural event of the summer stage, dedicated to the electronic music will take place on August 3 and 4.

In this occasion it will have more than 25 presentations between Disc Jockey (DJ) and musical groups.

Noel Soca García, general director of Education, Culture and Sports in Mayabeque, explained that they created a working group formed by the Cuban Music Institute, the Ministry of Culture and the provincial leadership of that sector in the young province.

He added that 12 DJs will be distributed between the two days of activities, in addition to three rap projects on Friday and the same number on Saturday.

On the logistical assurance of the festival, Soca García added that they work in conjunction with the transport directions of Havana, Mayabeque and Matanzas.

"There will be possibilities of moving from the capital of the country to Guanabo through the usual route that will be reinforced that weekend and Mayabeque will facilitate the journey to Rotilla Beach", Soca García said.

The encounter with electronic music is carried out every year in three scenarios and the presentations will begin at 10:00 pm.
