Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Alberto Torres, from the municipality of Güines, is getting ready for the next sugar fight.

The CPA, leader in the works of cultural attention to the plantations and cane yields, is focused in the advanced of the preparations of the machineries and the agricultural works.

"We are making repairs to the combined sugarcane, tractors, implements and trucks," said the president of the cooperative, Omar Hernández Cruz.

To ensure the raw material for the Hector Molina plant, they intensify quality control and efficiency.

"We work on cleaning, organizing and working for the next harvest. The task is quite hard, but we always fulfill with everything, it requires a lot of effort,” said Eduardo Benítez, platoon leader.

"We fixed the problems of mechanics in each of the tractors, with difficulties in the coupling sleeve", said the head of the workshop, José Monje.
