Mayabeque, Cuba_ The education sector in the province increases the number of enrollment for day care centers, a possibility for working mothers to leave their children under the care of educators.
The head of early childhood in the provincial education direction, Yuliet Montes Suárez, explained, "in the case of San José de las Lajas, capital that grows, we are focused in the best way to deliver the capacities. Nueva Paz has a similar situation. There, with the opening of a new Children's Circle, there are 30 possibilities for accessing the institution, while, at the provincial level, a long-term project includes the creation of new rooms in those centers that have the possibilities ".
The authorization of registration for children's circles is part of the country's population policy. Mothers with two or more children have priority.
Another purpose is to provide the Children's Circles with the material basis of study and life to provide quality services according to Resolution 6 of 2017.
"Currently, Montes Suarez added, in the province there are 162 mothers with two or more children, cases that will be given due monitoring. Work is also being carried out on the repair and maintenance of the buildings with the aim of recovering capacities and guaranteeing sustainability, an action closely linked to the training of the Educators."
