Mayabeque, Cuba_ The delegates to the Municipal Assemblies in Mayabeque, are giving the final touch for the II Rendering Account Process, corresponding to the XVI Term of the People’s Power to be held from April 26th to June 14th, the digital site of Mayabeque newspaper publishes.

Sonia Nuñez Gonzalez, vice president of the Provincial Assembly, explained that those meetings are going to homage those people that have stood out in the government management and the 40 anniversary of the creation of the People’s Power in the country.

“In each Popular Council, we are going to carry out pilot assemblies, to explain the transformations carried out at that instance, the municipalities and the province, aimed at raising the quality of the meetings”, Nuñez Gonzalez added.

Students from the senior high junior and university teaching levels are going to participate as observers in no less than the 70 percent of the assemblies, which is another example of democracy and transparence.
