Mayabeque, Cuba_ The municipality of Nueva Paz has kept for two consecutive years the first place, of the National Program of Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture in Mayabeque.

"Some of the main indicators that allow this result are the production of vegetables in the organic gardens, patios and plots; in addition, the obtaining of organic matter, mainly the cachaça and the gallinaza, fertilizer destined to the recovery of the soil and the increase of the yields ", commented the director of the Business Unit Cultivos Varios of the town, Miguel Rodríguez Pérez.

"Currently, we are working to increase pig breeding, taking advantage of the potential of the farmers," Rodríguez Pérez added.
