Mayabeque, Cuba_ San José de las Lajas will host, from October 25 to 28 this year, the Provincial Day of Ithaca Poetry, with the presence of young writers and troubadours from Las Tunas, Holguin, Santiago de Cuba, Pinar del Río, La Isla de la Juventud and Mayabeque.

"This year we intend that the Ithaca not only reach artists from Mayabeque, we want to go out and visit other provinces”, the president of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), in the territory, Elena Rivero Barrera said.

Among the main lines of presentation will be, not only the reading, because they intend to go further, to the workshops, to the book presentations and prizes achieved this 2018 by associates.

The aim of the meeting is to achieve an exchange between the new generations with writers belonging to the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
