Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque beach is the main recreation scene in the summer stage and is visited all year round by families, campers, youth groups and the usual fishermen. The Council of the Municipal Administration invested, in the last three years, one million 260 thousand 726 pesos for the conservation of this place.

The mechanized sanitation of the ditches on both sides of the road, the opening of the Las Almendras recreational area and a pizzeria, as well as the installation of two kiosks, some of Palmares and the other of Cimex, were carried out during 2016.

In the year 2017 the efforts were directed to the road maintenance, filling and patching of the access road, the placement of identification fences, of street lighting lamps, of 200 meters of conductors next to the replacement of the supply source engine by one of greater capacity and a new pump and the maintenance of the medical post.

In the present calendar they rectified and dismantled the access road, bought umbrellas, put the roof to the restaurant and the industrial store and built a new shelter for the protection of the supplying source.

Throughout the year the workers of this spa offer drinking water services in pipes, repair and paint the bridges, clean the green areas and roads and perform recreational activities for visitors.
