Mayabeque, Cuba_ The first process of rendering account of the delegates of the People's Power to their electors, will begin next November 15 in this province, dedicated to highlight the work of experienced and young educators.
In the transmission of the public opinion program, “En tiempo real” (In Real Time) from the headquarters of the Provincial Assembly located in San Jose de las Lajas, it was reported that this time there will be more than 900 thousand neighborhood meetings in which about 480 delegates will report about their management and the main productive actions and services that occur in each municipality.
In comparison with the previous process, the number of meeting areas decreases, which implies that these meetings merit better preparation. The delegates must clearly explain the fulfillment of their missions, in particular the management of the proposals and how they brought the popular interest to the Municipal Assembly.
In those places where the solution or responses to the citizen requirements go beyond the local border, the provincial directors must be present, while in the circumscriptions the highest representatives of the administrations belonging to that environment participate.
"To assume the process with higher quality, delegates are receiving seminars, where they acquire the arguments that facilitate the exchange with the people," Tamara Valido Benítez, President of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, told Radio Mayabeque Digital, who added, "if we want to continue improving the process, participation, quality and transparency cannot be lacking".
