Mayabeque, Cuba_ Projects of social benefits created in Nueva Paz will make possible in a short and middle term to strengthen the economic and social infrastructure of the municipality with the increase of the incomes to the territorial contribution.

"Among the programs of social benefit, the pulp and preserve mini-industry has already started, with the production of condiments," Luis Miguel González Ramos, director of the Science, Technology and Environment section in the town, explained.

"In addition, we are working on the assembly of a production system for plastics, such as pipes and other elements," added González Ramos.

"The Unit of Procedures in the territory will begin, next year, its construction, a total remodeling," he said.

There are about ten projects to benefit the population, which are managed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA).
