Mayabeque_ The Municipal University Center of San José de las Lajas, convenes the First Scientific and Community Workshop "Thought in Action" that will take place on the coming November 24.
At the event, dedicated to honor the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, on the second anniversary of his physical disappearance, all educational centers and professional, scientific and student communities of the municipality may participate.
"Validity of Fidel’s thought and work", "The quality of life of the elderly", "Experiences of community work in local development", "The effects of climate change at the local level "," Youth and Gender ", are among the topics to be addressed.
Those interested in submitting papers must take into account the following requirements: the papers must be submitted in Word format (digital and printed), in Arial 12 font, 1.5 spacing, with an extension of no more than 10 pages and a summary of a maximum of 250 words, which states the contributions proposed in the work according to the criteria of the authors.
