Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Fructuoso Rodríguez University, located in Mayabeque, increases the profile of technical careers, basically those related to the agricultural sector.

This allows boosting the economic development of the province since the preparation of young people who will practice the profession in factories, industries, agricultural centers and other entities.

According to the rector of that house of high studies, Adianez Taboada, the number of careers grew from its foundation to date. Distributed in seven faculties they have specialties such as agricultural and computer engineering, agronomy, agro industrial processes, among others.

The curricula were perfected, including the E plan where it is agreed with the employers' organizations and they try to attend to their needs in this phase of education.
