Mayabeque, Cuba_ Dr. Yenni González Liriano, arrived in Santa Cruz del Norte from Brazil where she offered life and hope to many families, by will and convinced of the importance of sharing what we have.

With samples of affection and infinite respect, the town and local authorities congratulated her, moments after her arrival in the neighborhood, from the Dos Goitas State, where she stayed for 15 months.

Between laughter and words interrupted by emotion, she made the present accomplices of some of her anecdotes. In the family stood out the pride of the duty fulfilled.

The mother of this collaborator, Isabel Liriano Valdés, feels grateful to live this moment and see her daughter grow up in the face of difficulties.

The young physician is part of that army that work in the mountains, rivers, jungles and cities, facing hazards to multiply health in their solidarity hands.

Today marks the Day of the Latin American Medicine, in honor of Carlos J. Finlay, his example is an encouragement for those like him, devote their lives to consciousness, to research, to fight diseases, and to make medical care a the daily right of humanity.
