Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Colloquium of Social and Humanistic Sciences of Mayabeque was held at Fructuoso Rodríguez Agrarian University with the attendance of more than one hundred researchers from the territory, enrolled in six fundamental research lines, the digital site of Radio Camoa publishes.

The event, dedicated this time to the 90th birthday of Fidel, focused the debate in aspects related with the community work, the quality of in the formation, training and graduate courses, as well as the creation of local initiative projects for the sustainable and harmonious development of the territory, contained within the main research lines in the province.

The papers presented dealt on linking the scientific knowledge to the formation of values, protection of the environment, dealing with natural disasters and climate change, and the role of rural women in food production, among other community approach projects.

Thre also presented new proposals to link the National and Local History, meanwhile, professors from the Socio-Cultural Studies Faculty at the Agrarian University lectured on applied science to marketing.

Master Robinson Fortes Falcon, director of Development of Municipal University Center of San Jose de las Lajas, said that this is a place to share experiences successfully applied in the municipalities and propose others that will have a positive impact on the economic and social life.
