Mayabeque, Cuba_ The baseball players Denis Laza Spencer and Rangel Ramos, will represent Mayabeque in upcoming National events.

Laza, one of the main figures of the Hurricanes, had an excellent Series 58 and served as reinforcement to the Industriales team.

On the other hand Rangel Ramos is one of the players with projection in the territory and after his outstanding performance with the Hurricanes, he also supported the capital’s team, whose colors defended until he underwent an injury.

Ramos will soon join the pre selection training, where the team that will participate in the Under 23 Series will come out, contest he considers as the most important in this moment.

According to the provincial director of Sports, Rolando Quiñones Álvarez, other of the athletes selected to reinforce Industriales was Pedro Manuel León, from Quivicán, but he could not play due to an injury suffered in the skills tests corresponding to the game of the Stars, from which he still recovers.
