Mayabeque, Cuba: The fourteenth joint operation of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) and border troops was developed in the municipality of Melena del Sur.

During the activity they carried out a preparation exercise to explain the measures to be taken against different crimes that may occur in the coastal territories.

In the same way, the two detachments visited Mayabeque Beach, where they visualized the actions carried out there regarding the reforestation, as part of the Life Task (Tarea Vida).

The day ended at Simón Rodríguez School, of the Zapote Popular Council, where pioneers and teachers had the opportunity to watch a videoconference about alcoholism and its confrontation within the family.

These days are essential to prepare the coastal population to combat illegalities in that area.
