Mayabeque, Cuba: The policy of the Cuban State to expand and make flexible the exercise of self-employment is consolidated this year in Mayabeque, taking into account its impact and economic, political and social significance.

Currently about 17 thousand people in the territory exercise activity adjusted to the new regulations that seek greater organization and development in each of the authorized profiles.

The figure represents the increase of more than 10 thousand workers in the non-state sector from the year 2000 to the present, while the illegal exercise decreases in cases of cancellation and cancellation.

Areas of concentration were established this 2019 in Mayabeque in seven of the 11 municipalities of the demarcation for greater organization.

For the second semester of the current year, it is planned to determine the areas in the remaining 4 locations and to ensure the construction and hygiene conditions established in the regulations.

In addition, the province improves in compliance with tax obligations, maintaining from January to June a behavior of 92 percent of registered self-employed persons, superior to the previous calendar.
