Mayabeque, Cuba: The coupling of a rice dryer in the mill, located in the town of Bizarrón in Güines, is one of the largest investments carried out by the Ministry of Construction in the agriculture sector in Mayabeque.
The work has capacity for the dehydration of 55 tons of grain per hour of daily work and thus links the agricultural-industrial cycle, in addition to avoiding the expense of fuel and other resources.
This province also assumes the assembly of a seed treatment plant in the municipality of Nueva Paz, with the purpose of replacing imports and avoiding the purchase of food in the foreign market.
According to the director of the Base Business Unit (UEB) of Engineering Services in the demarcation, Diosbel Roque Sánchez, Mayabeque´s rice is taken to Los Palacios, Pinar Del RÃo; With these new executions there will be greater savings in fuel and labor.
These investments in the agricultural sector reduce the importation of technological equipment in the territory.
