Mayabeque, Cuba: Osvel David Caballero won the gold medal and was the first athlete of Mayabeque to give the gold medal to the province and Cuba, in the boxing final in the games of Lima, Peru.

Caballero had three convincing combats to defeat the American Duke Ragan in the last presentation for the Pan American crown.
