Mayabeque, Cuba: Without giving up vital services and affecting the population, San Nicolás responds to the call of the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, to alleviate the fuel deficit that hits the Island as a result of the harassment by the US government to prevent the supply of diesel to the country.

According to the Head of the Municipal Administration Council, Yamilet Gil Hereida, through the creation of Five Working Groups in different areas, the authorities has adopted measures to minimize the effects of the fundamental services to the population to which information is constantly offered.

Related to production, distribution, and commercialization, the leader mentioned the alternatives that sectors such as Agriculture, Commerce and Gastronomy put into practice.

Among them is the transfer of milk, the basic product and the supply of crops from the land to state sale points in animal-drawn vehicles.

Gil Hereida also highlighted other tasks such as the transportation and loading of passengers, where they prioritize the transfer of students and teachers, ambulance and necrological services and the opening and closing line trips to the population settlements distant from the municipal seat.

Likewise, the leader explained that they enabled three new boarding points to take advantage of the transportation of school entities and buses.
