Mayabeque, Cuba: The Union of Education, Science and Sports workers in Mayabeque designed an extensive program of activities in the context of the educator's day corresponding to this school period, which will run until December 22 of the year in progress.
The general secretary of the provincial bureau of the union of this sector, Bárbara Collado Calderón, said that they are going to carry out the homage in the eleven municipalities and will recognize the work of outstanding professionals in the sector this two thousand 19.
According to Collado Calderón, the provincial act for the Educator's Day will take place at the Second Diaz Prado Elementary School in the municipality of San Nicolás.
The teaching institution was chosen for this celebration because of the merits achieved in the current year in terms of pedagogical work. Educators, students and retirees from this sector will participate in it.
The official added that a meeting of retired teachers with young graduates and students of pedagogical careers is planned. This event will promote the exchange of experiences between generations of teachers and future ones.
They will also hold conversations with young university students belonging to the Educating with Love pedagogical contingent that is based at the Fructuoso RodrÃguez University, to know and recognize their participation in this impact task.
