Mayabeque, Cuba_ The sixth edition of Mayabeque’s exhibition in Expocuba will open on Thursday under the title Pointing to the Future, dedicated this time to the 90th birthday of Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution and the 55th anniversary of the literacy campaign.
The young province will be represented at the fair by more than 70 companies including the electrical cables (Eleka), Cuba Ron and Havana Club, the ceramic industries from San Jose and Santa Cruz and the oil enterprise.
Important scientific and agrarian centers as the Institute of Animal Science, Agricultural Sciences, the Agrarian University and the National Center for Agricultural Health (Censa) will also be present.
During the exhibition, which ends on Sunday 26, the province will show the cultural activities of the territory through the comprehensive work of institutions in the 11 municipalities.
The performance of music bands, theater groups, variety shows and concerts of orchestras are to enliven the days.
