Mayabeque, Cuba_ The repairs taking place at this moment in Cuba Paper Factory 9, Quivicán, will improve yields, increase efficiency in the production process and reduce the time lost due to breakage, once stabilized the energy consumption.

This was stated by Alexey Fernandez Duran, director of the entity, who specified that the larger repair is on the machine one, dedicated to the production of paper, which they aim to solve during this month to restart its operation and continue with the starting of machine two.

"With these new repairs we can raise 10 tons of paper per day. Now we work to complete the workforce to enable shifts and avoid shutdowns in the industry and increase production volumes," the manager added.

The time is right also to carry out industrial culture, including the remodeling of the labor room, the painting of the facilities, and the change of image.

To improve the quality of the transportation of workers, with the acquisition of a Yutong bus to make the trip daily, and the change of the engine to other of its vehicle which reduces fuel costs, are included in the actions efforts to revitalize the paper factory of Mayabeque.

With the restarting of operations, the marketing of paper and board will continue with the Councils of the Provincial Administration (CAP) in many locations in the country, as well as other institutions and entities that have contracts with one of the most important Cuban factories in the chemical sector.
