Mayabeque, Cuba__ A great plan of activities is carried out at the University Center of Melena del Sur, on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the creation of Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez Agrarian University of Havana.

According to MCs. Gisela Valdés Rivero, director of the institution in the locality, the program includes conferences of social sciences and humanities, symposia, exchange with teachers of Simon Rodriguez Primary School, as a center linked to Manglar Vivo project, meeting with writers and artists, as well as recognitions to teachers.

Rivero Valdes expressed the joy of having several workers selected to receive the condition 40 Anniversary of the UNAH, including a group of founders of the program.

The University Center of Melena del Sur, provincial reference institution has already graduated more than 200 professionals in different specialties and for the next academic year expects the reopening of careers as Physical Culture and Primary Education.
