Mayabeque, Cuba_ Members of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power of Mayabeque unveiled the first results of the process of accountability of its sixteenth term.
A total of 2,782 assemblies attended by the 80.7 percent of the citizens summoned, were carried out in the territory.
Tamara Valido Benitez, president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in the demarcation process assessed the process as positive and higher in quality to than the previous one.
The 73 percent of the requirements correspond to local governments and state bodies, mainly from the Basic Electric Organization (OBE), Water and Sewage, roads, trade and health.
Santa Cruz del Norte with 1450, San José de las Lajas, 1214, Madruga 796 and Nueva Paz with 760 stands among the municipalities with more requests from the population.
The participation of 473 observers from the vocational, technical education, and pre-university higher education and the use of new technologies to show the people the achievements of each territory were among the distinctive aspects of this process.
The issue, due its relevance, be analyzed at the nineteenth regular session of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Mayabeque on January 23th to take place at the theater of the Provincial Administration Council (CAP by its Spanish initials).
