Mayabeque, Cuba_ The National School of Qualification of Trade and Gastronomy, located in San José de las Lajas graduated around 580 students coming from the western provinces of the country.
At the ceremony 14 graduates received recognition because of their outstanding results in the study and the practice. The prize to the excellence was shared by Dainet Pérez Márquez of from Mayabeque’s capital and Javier Martínez Alfonso from Cotorro.
The best graduated in the specialties of cash desk, foreign language, source of soda, artistic decoration of fruits, vegetables and confectioners, as well as bartender, were also recognized.
Professionals of the Culinary Associations Federation of the Republic of Cuba, the Ministries of the Tourism and of the Interior Trade and the Cuban Barmen Association participated in the final evaluation, all advised by the methodological department of the National Center of Training .
This was the seventh graduation of the training center where more than a thousand 600 students were formed as professionals of the trade and the gastronomy.
